Last 11th and 12th July the AEROARMS project performed on a gas refinery in Germany the first outdoor experiments. The AEROX system developed by FADA-CATEC flew to reach an elevated pipe and performed some contact inspections. This system was created to measure the thickness of the wall of a pipe and perform contact inspections.
These experiments were attended by researchers and engineers from FADA-CATEC, TÜV NORD systems, TÜV NORD EnSys, TÜV NORD Cert and Elektra.
